Wayne E. Sharp
PEMBROKE, Ga. - Mr. Wayne E. Sharp, age 78, died early Monday at
his residence. He was a native of Indiana and had lived in Bulloch County since 1979. He served in the United States Army
during the Korean Conflict with the First Infantry Ranger Company (Airborne)
and was a member of the Pembroke First Baptist Church. He was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge in Lebanon, Mo., and enjoyed playing golf, traveling and spending
time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Spencer
Sharp; one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene Sharp; his son and daughter-in-law, Guy and
Wanda Sharp; his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Michael Sangiorge; his
daughter-in-law, Lori Sharp, all of Pembroke; his brother, Archie Nolan Sharp
of California; 10 grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held
Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at
Hodges-Moore Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with the
Rev. Jim Correll and the Rev. Brad Butler
officiating. Burial will be in Northside
Cemetery in Pembroke.
